Doctors and Nurses Paraded on Labor Day

On Labor Day, thousands of Taiwanese healthcare professionals staged a protest against the "sweatshop" national health insurance system. On May 1st, the street of Taipei was as hot as 35℃, but the fury of Taiwanese healthcare workers is even hotter.

Hundreds of nurses raised the signs that said "They are not only nurses, but also my family."

Another group of young doctors gathered in parade with helmet on their heads. Their current status is ironical: when they are asked to protect the patients in hospital, they are also asked to overwork without any pay in a hostile environment where inpatient patients and their family could beat them anytime.

As I said weeks ago at this forum, they REALLY come and report the "sweat shop" policies of NHI and Taiwan G. Maybe it would not matter the politics of Taiwan G, but it should be able to shut up the big mouths of the "intenational friends" that admiring this terrible healthcare system without hearing the truths.

Say, this is the begining of long fighting, and we have loads of work to do before winning the final FREEDOM. You people participating the parade really do it good, yea my Salute!!

As I said weeks ago at this forum, they REALLY come(came) and report(reported) the "sweat shop" policies of NHI and Taiwan G. Maybe it("they" would be better, corresponding to the previous one you used.) would not matter the politics of Taiwan G, but it(they) should be able to shut up the big mouths of the "intenational friends" that admiring(were admiring) this terrible healthcare system without hearing the truths.
